Looking for "Hidden Gems" -- Great Blogs Readers May Have Missed

We're making some changes to our social media -- and we want to start putting more emphasis on member-generated (i.e., not from SAP employees) content.

As part of this shift, we are looking for Hidden Gems: great blogs that may have missed their audience.

"So what qualifies as a Hidden Gem?" you may ask. (Great question. I've always said you are one of the smartest people in the community.)

A Hidden Gem is a blog post that...

  • Really impresses you -- whether it's written by a new author or a community veteran
  • Has fewer than 100 views (roughly)*
  • Was written by someone without an SAP next to his or her name

Keep in mind that these are loose rules. If you find a fantastic blog from an SAP employee (say, for example, a guy whose last name rhymes with Panda) with 110 views (which, come to think of it, rules out that wildly popular Panda guy), you can still recommend it. But, wherever possible, we want to shine a light on posts from non-SAP members deserving more readership.

So if you happen across a post that fits the criteria, please add it in a comment below and I'll add it to the list of candidates eligible for promotion on the SAP Community Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Here's a recent example of a Hidden Gem...and we want more! I'd love to see a minimum of one Hidden Gem promoted a day.

Looking forward to your input!

* Blogs with high views will continue to get recognition through Caroleigh Deneen 's "popular blog" series. With Hidden Gems, we want to draw attention to posts that members may have overlooked.
