Commodore 128 was one of my first, and after boot up all it took was 'go 64' and then we could play games from the big floppy disks.

I played Asteroids for hours and hours. How I loved that game:)

Commodore 64 for gaming was the greatest, but I guess my first experience with computer gaming was Telengard on a TRS-80.

      Yeah, I'm that old.

That one was my first computer as well.

Sorry that we are somehow hijacking this thread into a 'commodore' childhood memory discussion, but I will relate it to modern times and for the car aficionados out there like my Aussie friend Jamie Gilbert, the car picture in my MoM article is in fact an imported Holden Commodore :)

Well, to go on with nostalgia, the real "Commodore car" (at least in the original SAP "homeland") is that one...(FWIW, my first car was the "smaller" brother, a simple Opel Rekord D).

Can't comment on computer gaming, not my business:)

    Atari - Space Invaders

Of course my first one was pong. I'm not even sure the system. It was just lines going back and fourth and a ball bouncing around.

Quite nice how memories of a Commodore 64 bring people together.
