[Status Update]Come Influence Us Somewhere!

Got an email about some changes in the Customer Influence site. Funny thing - neither the email nor the 5-page attachment mention the website address. :) Even the screenshots are carefully hiding the address bar.

Sure, I could just go to Google but this rather feels like getting a birthday invite without the venue location... "Come influence us somewhere!" :)

    Hi Yelena,

    my hunch tells me that you influence SAP more here, in the coffee corner, than through the mysterious Customer Influencing program which i haven't had too much luck with for the past two years.

    Such is the power of #socmedia these days.

    Cheers, greg

    It's probably meant as a first level screening process.

    I.e. you're probably not really serious about influencing SAP unless it bothers you enough that you're willing to google to figure out how to influence.

    Why should they bother with a suggestion if the person suggesting it isn't like REALLY committed? :-)

      Oh, so this is like an Oracle in Neverending Story? Only the one without fear will pass or something? That might be a better interpretation. :)

    To quote a Canadian songwriter(*):

    Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight.

    So, dear Jelena, don't be too reluctant to do some work on your own to find the treasures!

    (*) I'd love to provide a link, but that just would not fit here.

    I also got this mail, but since I am familiar with the Influence.sap.com activities, I didn't really read the docu. So I think that's just a shame. I do know that there have been some very good results for Customer Connections and Customer Engagement Initiatives.

    I can't say I appreciate the look and feel of the new site, but I DO appreciate the time and effort that has been put into the SAP Workflow initiatives that I have worked on.

      True that. There were definitely some good improvements delivered in the SD project this year, very much appreciated. I'm a bit apprehensive about the new website. The old one was a bit clunky and old-fashioned but it was functional. The new one is clunky too but with the pictures. I'll find more about the actual functionality when new run starts in September, I guess.

        The other Coffee Corner update has much better pictures... maybe that's why the link was not included???

        </end sarcasm>
