Isn't it technically correct, since in CC there are only discussions, not questions?

Sure...."technically"....but it is listed in the Q&A space.....and if I jump to "followed tags" why can't I see everything and filter there (questions, blogs, discussions) like the old site....oops.....the site that must not be named.

As far as I remember it's still on the "to do" list to remove the Coffee Corner tag from the blogs and questions. But I guess it's pretty low on the priority list (as it should be ^^).

The link to the discussions is under a different tag: https://www.sap.com/community/tag.html?id=154853095497941430633174.

Of course, the standard filter is just a decoration, because the correct selection for filtering discussions would be:

https://www.sap.com/community/tag.html?id=154853095497941430633174&tag=type:discussion

From what I understand, with such solution the regular users cannot generate a common URL for both Coffee Corner blogs and discussions (different tags). I have no idea why this was designed in such way, there is probably some good explanation... If somebody knows of an easy way for an end user to create a URL for Q&A for multiple tags (preferably with no duplicated items), I would be most grateful, if this gets shared with the community.

Sadly (or not, I cannot say), most of the old blogs in the Coffee Corner (old SCN), are probably in the huge list of re-tagging required blogs: https://blogs.sap.com/tags/migration/, so there is not much to see in the official https://www.sap.com/community/tag.html?id=50690423538184863854226961842055

As I recall, the old Coffee Corner didn't allow blogs, only discussions. The old CC discussions are still around in the "archive," but as they aren't blogs with managed tags, and they cannot be edited to add managed tags now, they do languish (assuming they were something you wanted to keep).

Two of my own contributions to the old CC that I was particularly proud of, which would be hard to find today:

(shameless plug, I know, but since they're archived, it's not like I can get points on them anymore!)

I suppose I could rewrite them as blogs today, but where would they go? Under which tag? Where would something like the old "Blog It Forward" blogs go today?

Oh, there were blogs in CC and a lot of them. I created my very first blog there (Raiders of the Lost Badges). They were deactivated and hidden, after the point gamers found the CC and flooded it with blogs about poems and stories á la copy&paste.

Ah yes, that's right. But they were deactivated before I got there.

Hi Veselina

Stitched together URL gives cumulative results.

Try separating those tags by comma in a single URL.

Thanks for the tip!

One more thing. Blank tag id shows content for all tags. Total 125701 results as of now.

Yes, Steffi is correct -- and, in fact, this is a bug. Coffee Corner isn't a tag, so it shouldn't behave as one. Meaning you shouldn't tag a question with "Coffee Corner," nor should you be able to sort by that tag in Q&A.

Technically, there is nothing preventing someone from creating Coffee Corner user tag. For example, I'm already a tag: https://answers.sap.com/topics/jelena+perfiljeva.html

:)

SAP could rethink product names based on the chosen tags, here is a very popular tag

Hey, just found this one: https://answers.sap.com/topics/jurgen.html

Edit: well, there is already Hana and Leonardo, so Vadim or Juergen is just as good name as any. :)

my name is too difficult, I am distributed, this one has more: https://answers.sap.com/topics/jurgen%20l.html

Dann hab mal einen schönen "Tag":)

Interesting to find inconsistency in tag URL generation:

Jelena Perfiljeva https://answers.sap.com/topics/jelena+perfiljeva.html "+"
Vadim Kalinin https://answers.sap.com/topics/vadim%20kalinin.html "%20"
Jürgen L https://answers.sap.com/topics/jurgen%20l.html "%20"

Hmm, I guess we just found "@ mention simulator". :) If only those tags could also be followed we'd be in business! As a bonus - get nice stats on who's mentioned most.
