Feeling pretty happy - reasons to be cheerful.

Had a problem with Eclipse, got engagement from Armin Beil and the solution was found. Not only that, but the probably cause of the error (incorrect recommended value) will be addressed. https://answers.sap.com/questions/12984331/adt-382-debugger-not-triggering.html

I guess I'll have to start answering questions again now...

Just to open it up - what has just happened that made you happy?

Just peer-reviewed my youngest daughter's first program. Almost had to wipe a tear from my eye.

My other daughter impressed me last year. As part of her teacher training course she had to learn this graphical framework to teach to kids, so they produce simple video games, such as frogger, pacman etc. For her project, she subverted what is a highly graphics oriented environment and successfully created a multi-lingual (choose German or English) text-based adventure game with multiple outcomes. (You have to figure out whether you are human or not. The answer varies according to how you react.)

I have so many things to be happy about:

    1. My son's back from college and is talking about settling here! Amazing after he was talking about getting a job in DC. I'm in a little town in Michigan.

    2. I'm finally getting to play with the "new to me" toys on our system. Right now CDS and Web IDE. I did tackle BFR+ last year.

    3. AND It's a great day here. About 2 inches of snow. Just enough to make everything pretty.

What more can I ask for? I mean I could keep adding to the list and bore you. ;)

    Work-related :

Finally our S/4HANA project (greenfield) is shifting to a higher gear. The idea to start working with new(er) Technology and Architecture is refreshing and could open all kinds of new (career) possibilities ...

    Non-Work related :

Spending more time outside as Spring is slowly creeping up on us. And with that comes the intent to get out more and have fun with friends and family. Next week : Beertasting weekend with our local Beerclub, yay!
